Continuum

The Architecture of Continuity

2000 – Present

The synthesis of discrete elements into unified whole through formal integration.

Following the analytical deconstruction of Triangles and Horizontals—which isolated angular and continuous geometric principles—Continuum performs dialectical synthesis at the formal level. Discrete parts are unified into indivisible form. Separation gives way to connection. The articulated body becomes continuous whole.

The body is posed in intense helical rotational tension, limbs drawn into close contact, folded into compact configurations that eliminate negative space. Disparate elements connect into coherent flow. What was separate becomes singular. The opposition between articulation and unity resolves—physically through the body’s complete self-proximity, conceptually through the reconciliation of inherent opposites into seamless continuity.

The resulting forms demonstrate wholeness achieved: beauty as visible evidence that discrete elements have organized into integrated totality.
